Virus Enhanced - the 2008 Virus retains the shape and technology that made the original Virus so appealing. The 11-inch barrel is based on physics: shorter barrels move the sweet spot toward the end where the swing speed is faster (think of the business end of a hammer).
In the Virus Enhanced it means a 5% increase in speed meaning up to a 15-foot increase in distance per 300-foot hit.

First off, before our hitters put this bat to the test they were already making great remarks about the "cool, smooth" look of this bat. The dark blue and overall graphics on the barrel were striking. Okay so the look was sweet so how about the important stuff. The line drives, the distance, the durability. After our reviewer batted around with an opening 50 swings each they summed the bat up in one word, "Wow".
The line drives were consistent and the power generated by this bat was the best our reviewers have enjoyed from any previous Combat bat. Several of our hitters were able to clear the fence on a consistent basis. When our reviewer start asking question like where can we buy one of these bats and how much does this stick cost. That is usually a prelude to great scores.
Our hitters raved about the overall great feel of the bat "This bat swings smoothly, it has a great feel and the grip is very comfortable.
