Utilizing Eastonís patented Visual Composite Technology (VCT), the Synergy Clarity bat features a composite construction which includes a clear composite glass outer diameter that allows both players and officials to see the bat's design lay-up. This visual technology is made possible by Eastonís Strained Energy Optimization patent.

The benefit of VCT is that it allows Easton to design high-performance bats that protect the integrity of the game. When the design of the Synergy Clarity is compromised, the outer diameter of the bat will show delamination markings. Delaminations are breakdowns in the epoxy resin system that hold composite structure together. A delamination greater than 1" in any direction deems a bat illegal for play - as it signifies that the bat's performance level exceeds association performance standards of 98 MPH. Bats without delaminations are legal for play and will provide great Synergy performance players have known for years.

"Not only does the Synergy Clarity clearly push Easton's technological barrier, the bat also re-defines appearance by revealing a patented design, bringing yet another edge to the company's impressive collection," said Matt Arndt, senior vice president of Easton's baseball/softball division.

Easton continues its technologically driven focus by including the following features in its Synergy lines:

Extended Hitting Area - Patented Extended Flex TM design lengthens the hitting area along the entire barrel by increasing barrel flex toward the contour and end cap.

Design and Construction - Patented Integrated Matrix Technology TM (IMX) optimizes the relationship between materials, design and manufacturing process.

Swing Weight (M.O.I.) - Each bat design has received precision weight loading in both end cap and handle sections to provide optimal swing weights in order maximize bat speed through the hitting zone.

Vibration Reduction System TM (VRS) - Solid feel and the elimination of vibration combine to the give hitterís unmatched comfort at the plate.

All of our testers were familiar with the fact that this bat is the only current bat on the market that actually changes (Delamination spots) if an individual tries to tamper or alter this bat in any manner. What our testers were most concerned about is does this delamination process affect the bats performance in anyway. After 350 swings our testers unanimously agreed that this process did not affect the bat in any manor.

In fact the overall group chose this bat as one of the top bats of the entire 2009 crop of bats they have swung. Our testers loved the bats overall performance. "This bat is like a glove it is extremely comfortable and has a great smooth feel to it." Said another tester "My dad doesnít know it yet but he will be buying this bat for me."

Our girls swung this bat over 350 times and the bat exhibited absolutely no breakdown or durability problems. Our testers made it a point to mention that there were no sting problems with this bat.

This Synergy SRV2B-9 has a unique look and color to it and our reviewers absolutely loved the look. The consistent line drives and the occasional long balls from are group of base hitters did not go unnoticed.
