Each bat is graded by each player on a 10-100 scale in six categories: performance/line drives, performance/distance, feel or sting, sweet spot, sound, and graphics. A seventh category, durability, will be graded at the end of the testing period. The bat’s average score in each category will appear here. Grades will be out of 100, with 100-90 = A, 89-80 = B, 79-70 = C, 69-60 = D, 59-10 = F.
Remember, these scores are based on each player’s initial personal reaction to the product, and only covers the testing period of the bat anywhere from three to six weeks and a minimum of 480 swings.
Softball Today Magazine itself does not grade bats nor compare them to each other. The opinions below are intended to create discussions among players and are not endorsed by Softball Today Magazine.
