REEBOK RELEASES GROUNDBREAKING SOFTBALL EQUIPMENT WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE REEBOK VECTOR O SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL BAT - Designed with Reebok’s Patented O-Technology, the Vector O Slow Pitch Softball Bat Allows Hitters to Increase Their Bat Speed
CANTON, MA - Reebok introduced the Vector O Slow Pitch Softball Bat, the first softball bat to be infused with Reebok’s patented O-Technology. In concert with Reebok’s Double Wall Composite Barrel, it is arguably the most technologically advanced softball bat in history. Reebok’s revolutionary Vector O Slow Pitch Softball Bat is unlike any other softball bat ever produced. Taking advantage of Reebok’s patented O-Technology, the bat has strategically placed O-ports in the handle, reducing the amount of drag in each swing and allowing hitters to achieve a faster swing speed, which can determine how far a ball travels when hit. In addition, the bat features Reebok’s Double Wall Composite Barrel, which has one of the highest strength material ratios found in the barrel of any bat. When combined with Reebok’s O-Technology, the Vector O Slow Pitch Softball Bat enhances energy transfer back into the ball during ball-bat collisions, allowing for greater power and distance. “We are excited to allow players of all ages to take full advantage of their potential with groundbreaking, top of the line equipment,” said Chris Waldeck, Reebok’s Director, Cleated and Equipment – Team Sports. “We know that softball players run the gamut from weekend warriors to intense tournament players and this bat will improve the performance of those two types of players and everyone in between. The Reebok Vector O Slow Pitch Softball Bat is available in two models, The Vector O Plus and the Vector O. The bats are available at Reebok, com, Eastbay, Play it Again Sports, and other sporting good retailers.
The Vector O Plus is USSSA, NSA, and ISA approved, while the Vector O is USSSA, NSA, and ISA approved, and is also certified by the ASA’s new test standards.
