Why this score: The half-ounce load and two-piece feel earn balanced power and swing-weight marks; the shorter 12.75-inch barrel keeps the sweet spot a notch below the 13.5-inch balanced model, and composite break-in holds durability mid-pack.

Our Review

The 2022 Resmondo Loaded pairs Easton's Fire Flex 240 barrel with a half-ounce optimized end load, sitting between the brand's balanced and mother-load versions for that year. Easton built it around a triple-wall barrel with Ultra Elongated Fibers to widen the sweet spot, and the two-piece ConneXion+ design dampens vibration on off-center contact for a cleaner feel. The 12.75-inch profile is shorter than the 13.5-inch balanced Resmondo, which trades a little hitting length for a faster, more responsive swing. The 240-class compression is tuned to play hot out of the wrapper with a short break-in. It is certified for USSSA, NSA and ISA play. Power hitters who find the mother-load version too heavy will appreciate this configuration as a middle ground.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Half-ounce load keeps the swing quick and controllable
  • Fire Flex 240 triple-wall barrel plays hot with minimal break-in
  • Two-piece ConneXion+ build reduces sting on mishits

Cons

  • 12.75-inch barrel is shorter than the balanced model's hitting zone
  • Lighter load gives up raw distance to the mother-load version
