The 2022 Quatro Pro USA is Rawlings's top-tier youth composite, built around a multi-disc barrel that stacks layers of carbon fiber inside a composite outer shell to maximize longitudinal flex and trampoline. It is one of the lightest-swinging USA bats Rawlings has made, with a balanced -10 feel that lets smaller hitters get the barrel out front and a soft, low-vibration two-piece sensation at contact. When it is dialed in the barrel is genuinely hot. The trade-offs are familiar for the category: there is a break-in period before peak pop, and ultra-light premium composites are not the most rugged option for a hitter who fouls a lot of balls off the end. With the bat now selling well under its $349.95 list price, the value equation that was hard to justify at launch makes much more sense.
