2024 Easton Quantum USA Baseball Bat Review
An honest, no-frills one-piece alloy USA bat. The Quantum will not out-hit a premium composite, but it is game-ready out of the wrapper, light to swing, and now sells for a fraction of its list price.
Price just dropped $79 — that's 61% off and a great deal right now!

How we score ↗How big and forgiving the barrel is — based on barrel length, construction (one- vs two-piece, alloy vs composite), and how it plays on balls hit off the center. A primary driver of the overall score.
Raw exit velocity and distance. We use measured numbers from freely available independent testing when they exist; otherwise construction and consensus, judged against the certification’s performance ceiling. A primary driver of the overall score.
Comfort and feedback on contact — vibration dampening from the knob/connection, the sting of a stiff one-piece vs a smooth two-piece, and the sound off the barrel. A primary driver of the overall score.
How well it holds up and how the company stands behind it — documented cracking/denting reports, cold-weather behavior, and the brand’s real warranty record. Good to know, but weighted lightly in the score.
Our take on price-for-performance — the overall package weighed against its cost and what comparable bats run. Shown for context; it is NOT factored into the overall score (price changes too often and is personal).
Why this score: Value and durability are the headline strengths of a simple, dependable alloy bat at a budget price. Power and sweet spot score lower because a single-wall one-piece alloy cannot match composite trampoline, which is expected at this price point.
Our Review
The Quantum is Easton's entry one-piece alloy USA bat, built from ALX100 aluminum with a concave end cap and a cushioned 2.2mm flex grip. There is no break-in: it plays the same on day one as it does in month six, and the single-wall alloy holds up well in cold weather. It is balanced and easy for younger or developing hitters to whip through the zone. The honest limit is peak performance. A one-piece alloy bat does not match the trampoline of a two-piece composite like the ADV 360, and there is more feedback on mishits since there is no composite handle to dampen sting. But for tee-ball graduates, rec ball, and budget-minded families, the value is hard to argue with, especially at its current closeout pricing. It is legal for Little League, Pony, AABC, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, and Dixie.
