Why this score: Sweet spot and swing weight lead on the strength of the balanced triple-barrel one-piece build. Value is tempered by the premium price and 250-bat limited-drop scarcity.

Our Review

The Country Club is the country-club-themed entry in Combat's 2025 CR1 limited drops, and the balanced build is its all-around gamer. It uses the same one-piece, triple-barrel composite construction as the rest of the Spec CR1 family, tuned with a light end load so the swing stays quick and even for hitters who value control and bat speed over maximum top-end carry. The one-piece frame delivers a stiff, direct feel, and the triple-barrel layup is engineered to be hot out of the wrapper with a sweet spot spread across the 13-inch barrel. Combat's tacky Clinch Spec grip comes standard. It is certified for USSSA, ISA and NSA. As with the other CR1 drops it is limited to 250 numbered bats, so the practical drawback is scarcity rather than performance. For a control-oriented hitter who wants a premium balanced one-piece, it delivers.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Balanced triple-barrel one-piece is quick and controllable
  • Hot out of the wrapper with a wide sweet spot
  • Tacky Clinch Spec grip and stiff, connected one-piece feel

Cons

  • Limited run of 250 bats makes it hard to find
  • Balanced profile trades away carry versus loaded bats
