Why this score: The Quatro Pro scores best on feel and swing weight thanks to the suspended inner barrel and light balanced build, with a wide composite sweet spot. Power is good but not top-tier for a balanced composite, and durability is solid though composite frames carry slightly more long-term risk than alloy. Value is strong at current closeout pricing.

Our Review

The Quatro Pro has long been Rawlings' answer for hitters who want a feather-light composite swing, and the 2022 keeps that identity. A two-piece composite build with a suspended inner barrel deadens vibration almost entirely and gives the bat its trademark smooth, muted feel on contact. The stiffer handle for 2022 tightens up the energy transfer, and the balanced swing weight makes it easy to control for speed and contact hitters. Power hitters who want a heavier feel will prefer the end-loaded Quatro Max, but for a balanced composite the Pro is a comfortable, forgiving option.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Suspended inner barrel gives an extremely smooth, vibration-free feel
  • Light, balanced swing for fast bat speed and control
  • Big, forgiving composite sweet spot

Cons

  • Composite needs break-in before it reaches peak pop
  • Light, muted profile won't satisfy hitters who want a powerful, lively barrel
