Our Review

Rawlings' 2025 Haze is a one-piece aluminum-alloy fastpitch bat featuring an X-Tended Sweet Spot and an ultra-light -13 drop, with a dual USSSA/ASA stamp so it can travel between associations. The featherweight swing is designed to help young hitters get the barrel to the ball and build bat speed, and as an alloy it plays hot immediately with no break-in. It naturally trades the pop and forgiveness of a composite for that light, simple feel, and the stiff alloy gives more feedback on off-center contact. For a beginner bat at this price it does its job well.

Also worth a look: Easton Ghost Unlimited — our top fastpitch pick — the benchmark for feel and pop.
